Despatch Industries Dropbottom Quick Quench Furnace

This furnace has been designed to solution heat treat various types of Aluminum Alloys. Gross loading is 1050 pounds. (650 pounds product, 400-pound work basket). Designed heat up time is 1 hour to 930°F. Furnace body is constructed of 16-gauge steel plate. Insulation consists of 4" 12-pound density wool and 2" 8-pound density ceramic fiber blanket which is covered in 16-gauge aluminized steel. Furnace doors are air operated and include air operated door sealers to provide a positive seal. Plug type heating assembly with coil type Nichrome heating elements. 10 HP Garden City fan recirculates the heated air (9000 CFM)

Mounted and wired in a free-standing panel with fused disconnect includes two (2) Honeywell UDC 2500 digital temperature controllers. One (1) for temperature and one (1) for high limit. Also, there are two (2) Honeywell True Line digital round chart recorders. A SCR controls power to the heating elements.
